The Ford Bronco has made one of the most celebrated comebacks in automotive history. Since its 2021 return, it’s become the go-to platform for off-road enthusiasts who demand capability, style, and adventure-ready performance straight from the factory. But if you’re serious about pushing your Bronco beyond the beaten path, factory lighting simply won’t cut it. That’s where Baja Designs steps in.

Baja Designs has built a reputation over decades as the gold standard in off-road lighting — trusted by professional racing teams, military operations, and hardcore overlanders and off-road enthusiasts alike. Our Ford Bronco lighting kits aren’t just accessories. They’re purpose-engineered lighting systems designed specifically for the 2021-and-newer Ford Bronco platform, delivering the kind of visibility and reliability that separates a capable rig from a truly dangerous one.

Built for the Ford Bronco, Not Just Bolted On

One of the biggest differentiators with Baja Designs’ Ford Bronco lighting kits is the vehicle-specific engineering behind them. These aren’t universal-fit lights with generic hardware thrown in the box. Every kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Bronco’s existing architecture, using factory mounting locations and OEM-style connectors wherever possible.

That means minimal to no drilling, no fabrication headaches, and no compromising your Bronco’s structure to add serious lighting capability. Whether you’re outfitting a two-door or four-door Bronco, Baja Designs has kit configurations tailored to your specific build. The result is a clean, professional install that looks and performs like it was designed from the factory floor.

Fog Light Kits:  For owners looking to supplement factory headlights with targeted auxiliary lights, our fog light kits offer unmatched performance and looks. The Squadron 2.0 and S2 series pod lights offer a versatile, high-output solution that integrates cleanly into the Bronco’s front end without an aggressive, overladen look. For those looking for a kit that’s both street-legal and off-road capable, we offer our SAE fog pocket kits. We have designed kits for both the metal and plastic bumpers to complete your build.

A-Pillar Kits: One of the most popular configurations for the Bronco, A-pillar mounts position lights high and forward for maximum flood coverage across technical terrain. Baja Designs’ A-pillar kits use vehicle-specific brackets that integrate cleanly with the Bronco’s existing structure, delivering wide-angle illumination without sacrificing aesthetics.

Bumper Light Kits: For drivers who want forward throw without rooftop height, Baja Designs offers bumper-integrated lighting solutions. This lower mounting position reduces the halo effect on fog and dust, giving enthusiasts cleaner, more usable light in the conditions where Broncos spend most of their time.

Roof Light Bar Kits: When you need maximum spread across a wide field of view — whether navigating a tight canyon or sweeping a campsite — our roof light bar kits deliver unmatched coverage. Baja Designs’ Bronco-specific roof bar kits come with mounting brackets and everything for a worry-free installation.

Reverse Light Kits: Seeing behind you is just as important as seeing in front of you. The reverse lights on the Bronco are a known weak spot, and  is the reason why we have created reverse light kits specifically for the Bronco.

Real-World Performance Where It Counts

Specs on paper only tell part of the story. What matters is how Baja Designs lighting performs when you’re miles from the nearest paved road at midnight with a rocky descent ahead of you.

The answer, according to off-road enthusiasts, is consistently: exceptionally well. Baja Designs has earned near-universal trust among serious Bronco owners precisely because our products are validated in the harshest racing and trail environments before they ever reach your build. From the deserts of Baja to mountain single-track, Baja Designs lighting solutions have proven themselves where performance failures aren’t an option.

For Bronco owners specifically, this translates to confidence — knowing that when you flip the switch, your lighting system will perform exactly as expected, every single time.

From our uService technology where being able to service your own lights, to our ClearView providing more useable patterns that any other brand, to our Moistureblock and 5K Daylight color temperature, we have packed race-winning technology into the same light enthusiasts rely on when out on the trails. It’s no wonder we are known as the Scientists of Lighting.

Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Every one of our Ford Bronco lighting kits is backed by a limited lifetime warranty — a reflection of our confidence in engineering and materials. In a market crowded with budget LED bars and generic light pods, that kind of warranty commitment is a meaningful differentiator. You’re not just buying lights; you’re buying into a system that Baja Designs stands behind for the life of the lights.

The Bottom Line

The Ford Bronco deserves lighting that matches its capability and ambition. Baja Designs’ vehicle-specific kits for the 2021-and-newer Bronco deliver precisely that — proven technology, precision engineering, and trail-validated performance wrapped in a clean, purpose-built package.

Whether you’re a weekend warrior, a dedicated overlander, or a competitive off-road racer, upgrading to a Baja Designs lighting kit is one of the highest-return investments you can make in your Bronco build. See more. Go farther. Come home safe.

When we launched the original Squadron in 2011, we set a high standard for ourselves. Over the last 15 years, constantly improving it, pushing it to be the best light it could be. That is why we are proud to introduce the Squadron 2.0, the next evolution of our classic compact LED light pod available in both Pro and Sport configurations, making a generational leap over the original with performance gains, next-generation optics, and a ground-up redesign engineered for the demands of serious off-road use, delivering up to a 73% increase in reach over the previous generation.

Complete Redesign

We engineered the Squadron 2.0 from the ground up, drawing inspiration from the iconic Squadron and taking it to the next level through aesthetics, performance, and usability. The Squadron 2.0 Sport features an aggressive look, Hex Beam optics, selectable backlight, and a new bracket design for increased vertical adjustability for precise aiming. Updated uService® components include clip-in reflectors that stay secure during lens swaps and a new gasket design that improves sealing and long-term protection from the elements. A 4-pin Deutsch-style connector replaces the previous connector for enhanced durability. Every detail has been upgraded while maintaining the proven reliability that defines Baja Designs.

Performance

The Squadron 2.0 Sport delivers 3,200 lumens, while the Pro throws 5,921 lumens down the road, and now has more light output than our previous generation Squadron Racer, which was designed exclusively for high-speed desert racing. That’s a 41% increase in output over its predecessor. Both configurations run on 12–36V systems and are available in harness and non-harness pair options.

Performance is validated through our Effective Lighting Score (ELS), a four-part evaluation measuring real-world light quality beyond raw lumens and distance claims. The Squadron 2.0 scores higher across the board than the original Squadron classic, delivering a smoother, more even beam that reduces eye strain and driver fatigue on long night runs.

Lens Pattern

The Squadron 2.0 expands lens options through our proprietary ClearView® optics system to illuminate specific lighting zones. Choose from Wide Cornering, Combo, Spot, Work/Scene, and 90-degree patterns, each available in Clear, Baja Amber, and Factory Amber, giving drivers full control over beam shape and light color for any condition. An improved uService® gasket system makes swapping lenses on the fly faster and easier than ever.

Selectable Backlighting

The Squadron 2.0 features an integrated 9-color selectable backlight. Drivers can toggle between red, green, blue, magenta, cyan, amber, yellow, pink, and white, all configurable through the included harness. Color settings are retained when the light is powered off, so your setup is always ready when you are.

Vehicle-Specific Kits

With the launch of the Squadron 2.0, we’ve taken the guesswork out of installation. Over 15 vehicle-specific, plug-and-play kits are available at launch, each including everything needed to mount and wire the Squadron 2.0 to your vehicle, from bolt-on brackets to plug-and-play wiring harnesses. More vehicle-specific kits will be in development to have as many options as possible. Spend less time in the garage and more time on the trail.

Key Features

  • Complete redesign of the iconic light
  • 73% increase in reach at 10 lux compared to the previous generation
  • Refined beam pattern with greater distance, wider coverage, and reduced spill
  • 9-color RGB backlight with color memory, configurable via included harness
  • Five lens patterns — Wide Cornering, Combo, Spot, Work/Scene, 90-degree — in Clear, Baja Amber, and Factory Amber
  • Improved uService® with clip-in reflectors and redesigned gasket for fast field lens swaps
  • Redesigned universal bracket with increased vertical adjustability
  • 4-pin Deutsch-Style connector standard
  • Compatible with 12–36V systems; available in harness and non-harness pair options
  • Over 15 vehicle-specific plug-and-play kits available at launch

The Squadron 2.0 is now available. Whether you’re running trails in the mountains, chasing race miles through the desert, or building out your rig for whatever comes next, we built this light for you. Fifteen years of real-world feedback, racing, and refinement went into it, and we are proud of it.  Shop Squadron 2.0 LED Auxiliary Lights HERE

Green Lights, Good Times

In the world of cookie-cutter builds and going fast in the desert, you have two options: buy a UTV or build a prerunner. One is turnkey ready to go, easy to live with, minimal maintenance, cheap to keep running, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you climb in. Side-by-sides are good at what they do, and they do it really well. But that feeling can be numb.

If you want something more visceral, something that’s yours from the ground up well, if you’re Kevin Callaway, a mechanical engineer by trade, you build a 1993 Dodge D250 Cummins diesel prerunner.

And that’s exactly what he did.

When Kevin first floated the concept to a friend, the response was instant: “That will never work.” That was all he needed to hear. The truck was getting beams, a full tube chassis, and a Cummins under the hood. 16 months later, it was done.

Starting From Zero Then Going Further

It started as an old work truck he found sitting in Yucca Valley, California. Kevin brought it home, stripped it to a bare cab, 3D scanned everything, and built the entire chassis from the ground up a custom tube chassis front to back, sitting on beams designed by LSK Fabrication.

Under the hood is a 2007 Cummins 5.9 making 600 hp and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. The suspension makes 20 inches of wheel travel up front and 32 inches in the rear. The whole thing was designed, fabricated, wired, and painted by Kevin in his garage. The only things he didn’t do himself were the windshield install, the paint protection film, and the transmission rebuild.

Feeling Lucky

Kevin runs two sPOD BantamX units integrated into the truck, controlling all the lighting, fans, and accessories on the D250. Up front, seven LP4 LED light pods with green backlight on the bumper push 61,999 lumens into Lighting Zones 1 through 4, and every one of them is running a green backlight to match the British Racing Green paint. S2 with green lenses serve as turn signals, and green rock lights serve as interior lights.

Out back, an RTL is mounted as a chase light, and a pair of RTL-Ms handle brake lights and turn signals. Because the entire truck is custom wired, Kevin integrated the sPOD input functions directly with the turn signals when the indicator hits on the steering column, the S2 Pros drop to 10% and flash in sync with the RTL-Ms. On a separate switch, he can run the S2s at full power as marker lights when he’s off-road.

Kevin painted the truck British Racing Green because it was the right color for what he was building, and it matches the brown PRP racing seats and wood grain oh so perfectly.

At the end of the day, Kevin could have bought a UTV. He could have been out in the desert six months earlier, with a warranty card in the glove box and a dealer number on speed dial. But that’s not the point.

Kevin didn’t build this truck to go fast. He built it because building it was the whole thing, and the truck just happens to rip.

Baja Designs is proud to introduce the XL40, our first light designed exclusively for moto use. Born from the powerhouse of the XL80, the XL40 was engineered to bring that same trail-proven performance to a wider range of motos. The design ethos was simple: build a light that’s still bright enough for the trail, but compatible with the majority of motorcycles running lower-output OEM stators. At 43.5W, the XL40 draws significantly less power than the XL80’s 75.9W platform making it the right light for riders who’ve been left without a high output lighting option for their motorcycle until now.

Installed with our new Trail Lens, designed for 1st–4th gear technical trail riding, the XL40 redirects light from the center beam to near and midfield areas improving visibility through vertical transitions and tight turns in technical terrain. The result is a clean, evenly distributed beam that enhances near-field and peripheral visibility, eliminating the harsh hot spot common in combo lenses and delivering smooth, usable light through the most demanding technical sections.

FEATURES:

  • XL40 Paired with Trail Lens – Together, the XL40 and Trail Lens deliver enhanced nearfield and peripheral illumination for technical 1st–4th gear riding. The XL40 provides a smoother, more blended output when matched with the Trail Lens, which produces a balanced vertical and horizontal beam to improve visibility through rocky switchbacks, hill climbs, elevation changes, and tight technical turns.
  • More Compatibility – By re‑engineering the internals of the XL80 into a lower‑draw design, the XL40 works seamlessly with a wide range of motorcycles, especially those with lower OEM stator outputs.
  • High/Low Beam Functionality – The XL40 features both high and low beam functions, with the low beam reducing down to about 25% of high beam for added control when full power is not needed.
  • XL40 Replaces XL Sport/XL Pro in our moto lineup – All XL moto kits will now be available with a choice of either the XL40 or XL80 giving riders the ability to match their light to their bike, stator output, and the terrain they ride

XL40 Specifications:

  • Lumens: 5,224 (hi); 1,435 (low)
  • 43.5W/3.4A @12.8V
  • Modes: High Beam, Dimming Feature (25% of High Beam)
  • XL Trail Lens Installed

The Rider's Choice

Moving forward, the XL40 will replace all XL Sport and XL Pro light variants across our moto lineup. All XL moto kits will now be available with your choice of either the XL40 or XL80 giving riders the ability to match their light to their bike, their stator output, and the terrain they ride. After extensive development and real-world testing, we found the XL40 produces a beam pattern that is simply better suited for moto riding, and we wanted every rider to have access to it.

See how a $900,000 EarthRoamer Expedition Rig is Made

For more than 28 years, EarthRoamer has been building luxurious, off-road-capable expedition vehicles that have become the industry standard for a reason: they are the best. If you want a rig that delivers true off-road capability without sacrificing comfort, think land yacht for overlanding, EarthRoamer sets the standard.

Introducing the EarthRoamer LTx is the culmination of that design ethos: a fully self-contained, luxury expedition vehicle engineered for true off-grid travel while maintaining comfort and capability.

Each EarthRoamer is hand-built in Colorado and bespoke to its owner’s vision. Want maple cabinetry and a bright yellow exterior? No problem. A wine fridge and an espresso machine? Absolutely. If you can dream it, the EarthRoamer team can build it.

The LTx begins life on a Ford F-550 4WD chassis, powered by a 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. From there, EarthRoamer integrates a carbon-fiber composite camper shell, finished with a fully custom-built interior. While the fit and finish you would find on high-end luxury yachts.

It's in the Details

Sleeping accommodations for up to four, a full galley with induction cooking, a wet bath with shower, and integrated climate control systems make the LTx a legitimate long-term travel solution, not a weekend glamping rig. Every detail is intentional, from the electrical architecture to the cabinetry, all designed to support real-world expedition use in remote environments.

Underneath, the LTx rides on an adjustable air-suspension system paired with heavy-duty FOX off-road shocks. This setup allows ride height to be raised for technical terrain, lowered for highway, or allows to be leveled at camp. Massive 43-inch military-grade tires mounted on double beadlock wheels. The result is a rig that can comfortably cover long highway miles, then confidently crawl through sand, rocks, and remote trails while carrying everything needed for extended off-grid living.

Let There be Light

Every EarthRoamer comes standard with Baja Designs lighting, integrated directly into the vehicle during fabrication. The lighting package may resemble what you’d expect on a truck that races Baja, there’s a reason for that. If you’re building the ultimate expedition rig, you need lighting that performs at the highest level. Subtle isn’t exactly what you are going for when driving an EarthRoamer, but having the correct lighting package is key when getting this massive rig around the trail in the dark.

For camp and perimeter lighting, S2 Pro wide cornering lights are mounted around the exterior of the LTx, illuminating the campsite and surrounding area once the vehicle is parked, as well as S2 Pro reverse lights.

Up front, the bumper houses Squadron SAE and XL80 amber wide cornering lights, while a 40-inch OnX6+ Arc LED light bar is mounted on the upper bumper hoop for distance. Additional LP4 LED light pods with baja amber lenses are mounted on the A-pillars, serving as integrated ditch and cornering lights. Thanks to LP4’s Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT), these lights deliver over 200 degrees of usable light, ideal for getting this massive rig down the trail. Through the truck’s switch power management system, EarthRoamer integrates the factory upfitter switches so that activating the high beams automatically triggers the XL80 amber lights.

The result is an expedition vehicle that blends unmatched luxury, extreme off-road capability, and race-proven lighting built to go anywhere, stay anywhere, and do it all without compromise. If lights can survive on a race truck, they can, without a doubt, survive long epic journeys across the globe in an Earth Roamer. When the sun goes down, quality off-road lighting makes all the difference. Whether you’re navigating rocky trails, blasting across open desert, plowing snow, or setting up camp after dark, the right lighting improves visibility, safety, and confidence—and let’s be honest, it also adds serious style to your build.

One of the most common questions enthusiasts ask is: Should I run an LED light bar or auxiliary LED light pods? The answer depends on your vehicle type, terrain, driving speed, and personal preference. Below, we break down the difference between light bars and pod lights, compare their pros and cons, and help you choose the best off-road lighting option for your setup.

The Difference Between Light Bars and Light Pods

What Is an LED Light Bar?

An LED light bar is a long, linear off-road lighting solution designed to deliver maximum forward-facing illumination across a wide area. Unlike individual auxiliary pod lights that focus on specific zones, light bars are engineered to project powerful, uniform light output that extends both far down the trail and wide across your field of view.

Because of their size and output, LED light bars are often the primary lighting upgrade for trucks, SUVs, UTVs, and race vehicles that regularly operate at night or in low-visibility conditions.

Baja Designs LED light bars are built using advanced LED technology, proprietary optics, and rugged housings, making them ideal for high-speed off-road environments where visibility and reliability matter most.

Common mounting locations:

  • Roof
  • Front bumper
  • Grille
  • Rear-facing (for dust or chase lighting)

While Baja Designs light bars offer exceptional performance, there are a few considerations to keep in mind. Light bars typically come with a higher upfront cost compared to individual LED pods, reflecting their size, output, and premium construction. Their larger footprint can also influence mounting options depending on vehicle layout and available space. Once installed, light bars provide a fixed beam pattern, offering less adjustability than independently aimed pod lights. However, for riders and drivers focused on speed, distance, and wide coverage, Baja Designs light bars remain one of the most effective lighting solutions available.

What Are Auxiliary Light Pods?

Pod lights—often called off-road pod lights, auxiliary lights, or work light pods—are compact, modular lights built for targeted illumination. They’re extremely versatile and can be aimed precisely where you need light most.

Common mounting locations:

  • A-pillars (ditch lights)
  • Front bumper
  • Rear bumper
  • Roof rack corners
  • Mirrors or roll cages (UTVs)

Baja Designs auxiliary pod lights offer unmatched flexibility and precision for off-road enthusiasts who need targeted illumination in technical environments. Their compact size allows them to be mounted almost anywhere on a vehicle, while highly adjustable housings make it easy to aim light exactly where it’s needed—perfect for slow-speed driving such as rock crawling, trail riding, and navigating tight or uneven terrain. Baja Designs pod lights are also modular and scalable, allowing drivers to start with a simple setup and add more lights as their build evolves, often making them a more affordable entry point into high-performance off-road lighting. While each pod provides a more focused beam and narrower coverage compared to a full light bar, combining multiple pods can achieve impressive output, with the added benefit of customizable beam patterns, angles, and placement tailored to specific driving needs.

Matching Lights to YOUR Purpose

The choice between Baja Designs LED light bars and offroad LED auxiliary pod lights isn’t about one being universally better than the other—it’s about matching your lighting to the type of driving you do. If your goal is to see miles ahead at high speed and cut through darkness with sheer power, an LED light bar will give you that bold, wide beam. But if you need targeted illumination for tricky terrain, easy adjustability, or a scalable setup that grows with your vehicle, auxiliary off road pod lights might be the perfect solution.

Whatever path you choose, knowing the difference between light bar and pod lights and weighing the pros and cons will help you dial in the right off road lighting options for your machine. With the right setup, you’ll be ready to tackle the trail with confidence, clarity, and the illumination you need when the sun goes down.

Reflex Light Actuator: Complete Light Control at Your Fingertips

Introducing the Reflex Light Actuator (Patent Pending) – the first fully compatible actuator system designed exclusively for the Baja Designs light lineup. Born from racing in Baja, the Reflex brings professional race-level engineering to a consumer-ready solution. Engineered exclusively for our lights, the Reflex delivers instant, on-the-fly control of light pitch angle. This is the first fully integrated actuator system designed exclusively for the entire Baja Designs light lineup. It’s race-level technology, engineered into a bolt-on solution that anyone can install and use.

Born in Baja

In desert racing, race trucks run 125-gallon fuel cells that burn off hundreds of pounds of fuel over 1,000 miles, progressively lightening the rear end and changing the vehicle’s pitch. Combined with constantly shifting terrain – climbs, straights, blind crests – drivers need instant beam angle adjustment. Fixed angles don’t work. Stopping isn’t an option. Race teams solved this with actuators, but these required custom fabrication and were not cheap – they were out of reach for everyone else. So we thought, why not make a consumer level light actuator that bolts directly to a Baja Designs light? And that is exactly what we did. Best of all, the Reflex Actuator is compatible with the LP Series, XL Series, S8, and OnX6+ light bars.

Why Add Light Actuators to Your Setup?

1. Gain Control over your Lights – Instead of settling for a fixed light angle, actuators let you adapt instantly—aim high for open terrain or lower the beam for fog, dust, and close-range obstacles.

2. Improve Light Efficiency – Proper beam placement reduces glare, prevents wasted output, and ensures maximum penetration where you need it most.

3. Increase Versatility – From rock crawling to high-speed desert driving, actuators make your lighting system perform better in every scenario.

Aim Your Lights Exactly Where You Need It

The Reflex gives you complete control without leaving the driver’s seat. Previously, achieving this meant either stopping to manually adjust your lights or investing in custom actuator setups that required fabrication work. Neither option was practical for most drivers. Climbing a steep hill? Adjust your beam upward. Descending or running high-speed sections? Bring it down. Towing a loaded trailer that’s squatting your rear suspension? Adjust your light instantly. Aim your light exactly where you need it. We engineered the Reflex to eliminate that barrier entirely.

Purpose-Built Integration

What makes the Reflex different is that it’s designed exclusively for Baja Designs lights. The result is a true bolt-on installation using included custom hardware. No fabrication required. No modification of existing brackets. The system mounts directly to your Baja Designs light brackets and integrate seamlessly with the harness available.

Features

  • Instant pitch angle adjustment up to 20 degrees
  • True bolt-on installation – mounts directly to Baja Designs light brackets
  • Custom hardware included
  • Universal compatibility – works with most vehicle specific kits

Specific Wiring Harnesses for Control

You choose how you want to control the Reflex Light Actuator. Harnesses are sold separately to provide flexibility for customers’ existing lighting setups. With two style of wiring harnesses to select from provided flexibility to control your lights how you want. Wiring harnesses for control via momentary switch or power control modules (sPOD, SwitchPros, and others), take control of your lights at the push of a button.

Control Multiple Actuators at Once

Need the ability to control multiple actuators at once on your lighting setup? The Reflex Actuator linking harness can be used to power multiple actuators using one switch. For example, to actuate a 4-light LP9 bumper setup with a momentary switch and one actuator per light: (1x) Momentary or rocker single lead actuator harness and (1x) 4XL Linkable Harness. *Note: Actuators are not compatible with XL Linkable light bars. XL Linkable Harnesses are power-only between individual light actuators.

Built for Real-World Application

The Reflex Light Actuator is designed for any off-road platform. Whether you’re building a dedicated prerunner, weekend trail rig, outfitting a daily driver, or overland rig, the Reflex delivers the same level of performance and reliability.

Light actuators were previously reserved for professional racing applications and custom builds. We’ve engineered it into a consumer-ready solution that any driver can install and benefit from immediately. This is only adding to our goal to make lights that not only give you a competitive edge in racing but can be reliable enough to get you home safely.

Race-Proven Engineering

Every Baja Designs product carries our commitment to performance, innovation, and reliability. The Reflex Light Actuator embodies our “Scientists of Lighting” approach – rigorous engineering, extensive testing, and real-world validation before launch.

The Reflex Light Actuator introduces a new segment in performance lighting: accessible, integrated actuator control. We’re creating a purpose-built system that makes advanced light control available to anyone who wants it.

The XL Trail Lens: Designed For Enduro Riders

We are proud to announce the release of the XL Trail Lens, a new lens optic developed exclusively for enduro moto riders riding tight, technical singletrack trails utilizing the XL80.

For years, Baja Designs has pushed the boundaries of our ClearView™ Technology, our proprietary optics designed by engineers who understand real-world lighting demands. ClearView™ was originally developed for racing applications and then adapted for everyday riders. We thought we could make the light even better for slower enduro-specific riding. The result is the all-new XL Trail Lens, purpose-built to deliver maximum usability for enduro-focused, slower trail riding.

Redirect the Light Where You Need It

The XL Trail Lens is a brand-new beam pattern designed specifically for technical trail environments: rocky switchbacks, hill climbs, elevation changes, and tight terrain where traditional spot or combo patterns fall short due to limited vertical spread but mainly focus on distance, mostly utilized for high-speed terrain.

The XL Trail Lens combines both vertical and horizontal spread into a single beam pattern. This provides increased visibility not only in front of the motorcycle, but also into dips, valleys, and around corners, exactly where riders’ eyes and front tires need to track next. So riders can focus on what is immediately in front of them.

Improved Visibility

ClearView™ Technology itself is engineered around seven defined Lighting Zones. Baja Designs pioneered this zone-based approach and was the first to create purpose-built beam patterns for often-overlooked areas such as cornering, dust/fog, and high-speed spot. The new XL Trail Lens continues this design ethos of innovation, reshaping the high-intensity output of the XL80 into a balanced, wide, and usable pattern ideal for technical riding.

The Baja Designs XL Trail Lens will be available exclusively for the XL80 in both Clear and Baja Amber variants. The XL80’s high-output platform is required to maximize the performance of the new optic; therefore, the lens is not compatible with XL Sport, XL Pro, or XL Racer models. Moving forward, all XL80 Moto Kits will come standard with the XL Trail Clear Lens.

One of the primary advantages of the XL Trail Lens is the elimination of the “hot spot” common in combo lenses when used in tight, slower terrain. Instead, riders benefit from a clean, evenly distributed beam that enhances near-field and peripheral visibility, a critical factor in maintaining flow through technical sections.

Every Baja Designs optic begins with an initial digital design, followed by meticulous in-house prototyping and real-world testing by the same engineers who build them. With firsthand racing and trail experience, the Baja Designs engineering team ensures every ClearView™ optic performs in the most demanding conditions.

XL Trail Lens Features:

  • Increased vertical and horizontal spread of light to help riders see deeper into corners
  • Enhanced near-field and peripheral visibility
  • Optimized for enduro riders spending most time in 1st–4th gear
  • Available in Clear or Baja Amber lens kit variants
  • Designed exclusively for XL80 moto specific applications
  • All XL80 Moto Kits will now come standard with the XL Trail Clear Lens
